This salt free version of Adobo Seasoning is popular in many Latin American countries. Use on meats, fish including mahi-mahi, in stews, soups, casseroles, picadillo, rice and vegetables. Add salt to taste, or add your favorite black or red pepper for more heat. Try our recipe below for a delicious slow roast pork leg!

Roast Pork Leg
1 Pork Leg, skin on - about 4-6 pounds
2 Tablespoons Spice Ace Adobo Seasoning
3 Tablespoons Sea Salt, or to taste

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Score the skin of your pork leg in a cross-hatch pattern to help the skin render and get crispy as it cooks. Season your roast liberally with the salt and adobo. If desired, you can pierce the meat deeply a few times and add some seasoning into the cut made by your knife to help the flavor penetrate. Place your roast on a rack in a pan, and cook for 3-4.5 hours in on the middle rack of your oven until the meat is tender. To finish crisping the skin on the roast, turn the oven to a low broil or low convection setting and watch carefully to make sure the skin doesn't burn.
