Our Mulling Spices are a combination of sweet, floral, and pungent spices with a blend of two varieties of cinnamon. For a delicious and aromatic hot beverage, add 2 tablespoons of Mulling Spice for 2 quarts of apple cider, or use in eggnog, tea, hot buttered rum or red wine. For a fun variation on the classic holiday mulled cider, try our recipe below.

This recipe for a spiced holiday cider is slowly simmered with fruit and spices to make a satisfying beverage that is refreshing, sweet, tart and spicy all at once. Try red-skinned plums to add a blush of color to the finished product - experiment and have fun!

2 Quarts Apple Cider
1 - 2 Tablespoons Spice Ace Mulling Spices to taste
1 lb fruit such as Quince, Plum, or Guava - washed and cut in half

Add Apple Cider, Spice Ace Mulling Spices, and fruit to a pot and simmer for 4-6 hours over low heat. To serve, strain out softened fruit and spices and ladle into mugs.
