This aromatic and delicious salt free blend goes great with your favorite seafood, from swordfish to sole to scallops. Great on roasted vegetables, with eggs, and in salad dressings. Excellent on chicken too, as well as seitan and tempeh. Sprinkle on pasta or season garlic bread, too. In a small saucepan, mix 1 teaspoon Sea Cliff Blend with 1/4 cup Sherry Vinegar and reduce by half for an easy dressing for fresh oysters. See recipe below for a delicious seafood gratin that can be made with bay shrimp, scallops, or smoked trout.

Seafood Gratin with Smoked Trout:
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 Smoked Trout Filet
1 Red Potato, boiled and chopped
1 Roma Tomato, chopped
½ cup Sweet Peas, frozen is fine
1 Stalk of Celery
½ Onion
For the Mornay Sauce:
3 Tablespoons Butter
3 Tablespoons Flour
1 ½ cups Milk
4 ounces Gruyere Cheese
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons Sea Cliff Blend
Broiler-safe baking dish

Cut the onion and celery into ½ inch dice. If needed, remove the skin and de-bone the smoked trout filet and break into ½ inch pieces. Saute the onion and celery in the butter until translucent. Gently stir in the peas, potato, tomato, and the smoked trout and add the mixture to your baking dish. To make the cheese sauce, melt the butter in a sauce pan and whisk in the flour until the color changes to a very light brown. Heat the milk for a couple minutes in the microwave and whisk into the flour until the mixture begins to thicken. Add the cheese and Sea Cliff Blend and whisk until desired consistency. Pour the sauce over your seafood and vegetables in the baking dish and heat under the broiler until bubbly and browned.
