Harvested in Kampot, Cambodia, Red Kampot Peppercorns are treated to exacting ripening and production standards before reaching our store. Large pepper berries are fully matured and selectively picked from the vine at their ripest stage, when the berries reach an earthy brick red color. This time-intensive vine ripening process lends subtle fruity aromas reminiscent of apricot and plum skins. These peppercorns are large in size, with a vibrant peppery flavor and a hint of fruit. Use as a finishing pepper on beef, seafood, noodles, goat cheese and ice cream.
